Travel opens up an exciting new world of inspirations and experiences. I’ve learnt more about myself while island hopping in Fiji than I ever would at home.
I decided to try travelling solo because after graduating from university I wasn’t sure what to do with my life. I didn’t feel comfortable diving straight into a full-time graduate job so I decided to take a break.
I didn’t initially start with the intention to travel solo. I had an idea of where I wanted to go and when. Not wanting to compromise on my plans, travelling on my own just seemed like the right choice and it was the best decision I’ve ever made.
You can wait a lifetime for the right time and person to come with you. If you want to travel or if you’re thinking about travelling then the best piece of advice I can give is just go! Don’t lead a life of what ifs. Grab the opportunity with both hands.
If you’ve ended up here then I’m guessing that, like me, you have a passion for all things travel and you’re keen to carry on, if not, start your next adventure.
This blog is a guide to help you navigate solo travel, how to budget and how to be a sustainable traveller to protect our planet for generations to come. You will find destination inspiration, packing advice and much, much more.
Don’t just travel solo, be the best at it.
